When my spring bulbs have flowered, what can I do to care for them after the flowers are done?

I would like to put something in their place once the tulips are done. How do I store the bulbs until the fall? When should I take them out of the ground and does the sun need to “recharge” them before I take them out? Thanks to anyone who can share some green wisdom.

Leave them alone until the foliage has dried and turned brown. This is what feeds the bulb to bloom next year. Don’t move them until then to ensure further flowering.
