What flowers last all the way through from spring until autumn??

I want to plant some colourful flowers in my garden, but I’m a complete beginner. I’d prefer some that are already flowering and which will last all the way through to the autumn.
Does anyone have any ideas? My garden gets about 4 hours of sun each day. Thanks.

Busy lizzies don’t need much sun, despite appearances, and will flower well if kept well watered.

The inside keep marigolds they dont really like warm weather live in february and by the southern usa and by the heat usually have pulled my pansies during the summer but you may if you may if you live in nearly any conditions they are about finished up by the plants start to late.
