Wedding flowers to go with robins-egg blue and dark chocolate?
By admin | August 16, 2007
Julie Beth asked:
I am currently planning my wedding (June 2008) and I am trying to figure out what type of flowers to decorate with as well as hold (both me and my bridesmaids) that would look nice with robin’s egg blue (with dark chocolate accents). Lilies are my favorite but finding blue lilies might be a problem, any ideas?

The problem with blue or purple flowers is that they might wind up clashing with your blue color. The best color is ivory or cream. These would go very nicely with both the blue and brown and would add a little crisp, clean, brightness to the look.

yeah those are hard colors. if white bores you, you can choose a flower color that coordinates and have everything except your flowers be blue and brown.
i feel burnt orange, or bright pink.

I would go with a full variety of colours and assorted flowers - a mix of roses, carns, lilies, alstromeria, etc. - in dk pink, light pink, lilac, yellow, orange, peach, and greenery - tied up with blue ribbons.
