I have a tree that has little white flowers in the spring and dark red leaves in the fall. What is is?

I have been told this is a mock orange tree by some and others say no. It resembles a crabapple tree but I’m told it’s not that.

    could be a Euonymus alatus ‘Compactus’ (Burning Bush)
